- The woman is the totality of God’s people. In our age, she represents the church, God’s New Testament people. However, the formation and birth of the Man-child are related to God’s government on Earth. The Lord wants to return and establish His government, and because of this the Man-child is so hated by God’s enemy (Rev 12:1-2, 5).
- The Sun and the Moon with the stars exist to govern, but until now none of them have fulfilled this function. We are the ones that must fulfill this. The Man-child is this stronger part of God’s people today on Earth, those who are concerned for God’s people and struggle for God’s people (Gen 1:16; Isa 26:17-18; Rev 12:9 11).
- In the Old Testament there were some that fought for the kingdom of God, but they were not able to bring it into existence. Now, it is our opportunity to produce the Man-child. All of those that have fought throughout the ages form part of the Man-child, but we are the ones that will determine the coming of the Lord. Mount Zion symbolizes the Man-child, the stronger part that fights for the kingdom. We are responsible for the birth of the Man-child and for the restoration of the children of Israel (Isa 40:26; Rev 14:1).
