DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Thursday | Mess. 19 – Christ Died for Our Sins to Bring Us to God

  1. If we are ruled by Christ today, under His kingdom, He will use us to rule the nations. However, if we fight for our own space and kingdom, God cannot use us, because the Male-child will be born to rule all the nations (Matt. 6:10; Rev. 12:5).

  1. How can a Christian live by the life of God? Outward teachings do not change what is inside us. So, what changes us inwardly? If we immerse ourselves in the Word and instill it in us at all times, this Word will deposit the divine reality within us and cause us to live a life obedient to it (Deut 6:6-7, Eph 5:18-19).

  1. God is purifying us through the process of obedience to the truth. The circulation of the word among the members of the Body of Christ, that is, the immersion in the word and the instilling of the word in our hearts, is purifying our souls. And what is the result? It is sincere brotherly love (1 Pet. 1:22; Deut. 6:6-7a; Eph. 5:18b[1]19).

  1. “To fulfill our mission of preaching the gospel, we have gone out into the streets and used a very simple and straightforward approach: ‘May I pray for you?’ This approach has accelerated our evangelistic work, in which we reconnect people with God by placing books containing the gospel of the kingdom in their hands. These books clearly show God’s will to govern the Earth by filling us with Christ, who wants to fill the void in our hearts through the prophetic word” (Matt. 24:14; Matt. 28:20; 2 Pet. 1:19) (He who Has an Ear, Let Him Hear! Lessons from Sardis in Revelation, Background I, Thursday, p. 57).
