- Time is for doing God’s will, which is to make Christ head up all things, both in heaven and on earth. When this purpose is fulfilled, there will be no more need for time. As long as there is someone that does not want to submit to Christ, God will have to deal with it, and that is why time must pass (Eph 1:9-10).
- At the end of this age, God will destroy even the last enemy, which is death. Then the Son Himself will subject all things to the Father, so that God may be all in all. Thus, there will be one Head, one authority in the universe. Once this process is complete, there will be no more time; there will be the new heaven and the new earth. (1 Cor 15:24-27; Rev 21:1).
- After His death and resurrection, Christ begot the church on the day of Pentecost, and began the dispensation of grace and the kingdom of heaven. Today, we are at the end of this dispensation, which is also the dispensation of the church. The church has the responsibility to complete what God wants to do today—to preach the gospel of the kingdom throughout the world and build up the church (Matt. 24:14).
- “Death and life, hate and love, darkness and light have two completely distinct sources, essentially opposed to each other because they are antagonists, contrary spheres. And the results are also distinct: either a curse or a blessing. God gives us the choice. What is your choice?” (Deuteronomy 30:19) (Daily Food, Book 3, Week 1, Thursday, p. 13).
