1. We must not forget that with the Lord a thousand years are like a day. The Lord does not delay in keeping His promise, as some count delay. We cannot waste time because we are children of light, children of the day. Let us be like those who are on guard so as not to be caught unawares (2 Pet 3:8-9; Rom 13:11-12; Matt 24:36).
2. Today the church finds itself in a spiritual realm, where Christ governs. We are not adrift in a ship, but have government and direction. We are fulfilling God’s purpose, that is, Christ be the Head over all things through the church (Eph. 1:9-10).
3. We are living in the dawning period, in which our teenagers have fallen like drops of dew, with simplicity and reverent love for the Word. We must live as if the Lord were returning tomorrow. Let us be sober, vigilant, and faithful to the Lord (Ps. 110:3; Eph. 5:15-17; 1 Pet. 4:7).
4. “The circulation of life, through the word, has transformed us […]. The environment, the word and the tools that the Lord has given us, such as the war cry and immersion in the word, touch people […]. We have freedom when walking in the spirit because only in the spirit are we free from the slavery of sin and the law” (Rom 7:6) (Daily Food, Book 4, week 1, Thursday, p. 12).
