1. All of God’s creation was made in a lovely and beautiful way, and nothing like this. For example, God only made the rain after there was someone to till the soil. The Lord wants to send showers of blessings to the church, but for that to happen, we must be willing to work. Will we work? (Ecclesiastes 3:11; Genesis 2:5).
2. God is outside the dimension of time and space in which we live, because He is the eternal God. By breathing His human spirit into man, He breathed it from eternity, and the eternal God Himself was breathed into man. Yet man alone cannot understand what God has done; we need the revelation of the word (Isaiah 57:15; Genesis 2:7; Ecclesiastes 3:11).
3. Let us value spiritual revelation! We grow attached to physical things, like cars, money, etc. God, however, has placed eternity in our hearts, where our conscience is, which is the connection between God’s Spirit and our soul. This is something so valuable that God created it so that we can live with Him in joy for all eternity! (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
4. “How do we set our minds on the Spirit? By immersing ourselves in the word, by inculcating it into our hearts, by transcribing, by sleeping and waking up listening to messages, and by shouting war cries… By walking in the Spirit, we are freed from sin and the law. Thus, we do not gratify the passions and desires of the flesh.” (Rom. 8:6; Deut. 6:6-7; Gal. 5:16) (Daily Food, book 4, week 2, Thursday, p. 30).
