DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Thursday | Msg. 13 – Walk in the Spirit, and you Shall Not Fulfill the Lust of the Flesh

  1. Christ came to earth as a servant. Although He was God, He did not cling to this; on the contrary, He humbled Himself. He did not come to earth demanding a “red carpet”; on the contrary, when He came, there was no place to receive Him, no maternity ward, but He was welcomed in a manger. The Creator God came to earth as a servant (Gal 5:13; Phil 2: 5-7).

  1. Jesus enjoyed serving God and men. We must serve out of love, which is generated by life. It is not about changing behavior through teaching, but rather about transformation brought about by life. Thank God, Jesus obeyed unto death and went to the cross for us; otherwise, we would have no salvation, no justification, and no access to divine life (Mk 10:45; Phil 2: 8).

  1. What leads Christians to think the same thing is the Word. We all immerse ourselves in and enjoy life through the same Word. Life produces the same love, making us united in soul, not in appearance, but in truth, with the same feeling and a correct and pure heart, which only wants to be useful and serve God (Phil 2: 1-2).

  1. “The natural mind thinks only vain things (Eph. 4:17), but through immersion in the word and the trials we endure, our minds become enlightened, tested, and approved” (2 Pet. 3: 1) (Daily Food, Book 7, Week 3, Thursday, p. 44).
