- The Father has a will: He yearns, aspires, and sighs. The Son, sensitive to the Father’s sigh and longing, acts in perfect harmony with Him. Therefore, Christ is the very wisdom of God. When He perceives the Father’s desire, He acts wisely— for He is the wisdom and prudence of God (Prov. 8:12).
- The Son, Christ, was with the Father and was His architect. When the Father desires something, the Son, as the architect, plans how to accomplish this purpose. And, being the Word Himself, He utters the voice of command, which the Holy Spirit executes with His supreme power (Prov. 8:30).
- We can participate in the work of the Son. The church is in Christ and participates in Him. Everything that happens to the church occurs in Christ. Without Christ, His death and resurrection, and without being included in Him, we will not receive blessing in the heavenly places (Isa. 53:1, 10; Eph. 1:3-5).
- “It is not we who have the power to do God’s work, but the word. However, we must have faith in the word. If we believe and accept the word, it will work in our lives, family, profession, and church services. How much the Lord has done in the lives of each one of us, not because of our merit, but because we accept the word that does the work of God” (1 Thess 2:13) (Daily Food, Book 1, week 2, Thursday, p. 34).
