- What makes us uniform, what gives us the same direction is the word. Because the source of the word is only one, it is God. The Word of God is producing in us the same frequency as God. By maintaining fellowship in the word, God has granted us the same frequency, the same cycle. We are being intensified, in the same direction, directed towards the same focus (John 7:16-18; Phil 2:1-4).
- Our hearts must be right, in the principle of laying everything at the feet of the apostles, with a view to advancing the work of God, and making the gospel of the kingdom advance throughout the earth. Our hearts must be big, the size of God. And God takes care of the other things. We must have a right heart and a desire to want to participate (Acts 4:32-35).
- In Abraham and his descendant Christ, God promised that He would bless all the families of the earth through the promised Spirit. The believing Jews first received Him, but He is not exclusive to them, but to all the families of the earth. What happened in Acts is happening among us and on a larger scale, throughout the earth, everywhere. Everywhere the source that motivates us is the same, we have one soul, one heart (Gal. 3:14; Acts 3:24-26).
- “We were under the wrath of God. But God is rich in mercy, and because of his great love for us, he made us alive together with Christ. It is by grace we have been saved! Grace has set us free! Knowing this, do you want to go back to being slaves of the law? No!” (Eph 2:1-5; Gal 5:1) (Daily Food, Book 1, Week 3, Thursday, p. 50).
