DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Thursday | Msg. 24 – Abraham Rescues Lot with Three Hundred and Eighteen Men Born in His House

1. May Christ be the Head over all things—first over us, the church. We are His servants and co-workers. When Lot separated from Abraham, only those who shared his vision and simplicity of heart remained. So too, the Lord desires to bless us—now, in a more concrete way (Col. 1:17).

2. Just as He spoke to Abraham, the Lord also calls us to lift up our eyes. If He has given us promises until now, it is time to take hold of them. Today, we lift up our eyes through the prophetic word and believe in it, even though what we see seems impossible (Gen. 13:14-17).

3. We are few, but we do not judge the Lord’s word by its appearance; we simply accept it and believe it! The Lord told us to lift up our eyes and look, and we did! Then he commanded us to arise and walk through the Earth, and we obeyed. That is what we are doing (Gen. 13:14, 17).

4. “[…] When the enemy tries to oppress or crush you, you can say to him: ‘In Christ, I am above you. I am nothing, I have no skill, I have no strength, but God raised me up together with Christ and placed me in the heavenly places, above you!’ […] Let us be like Abraham, who had no interest in Earthly things, for he aspired to a heavenly homeland (Col 3:1) (Daily Food, book 1, week 2, Thursday, p. 31).
