- From Zion, God desires to govern His people, and we do not need to turn to idols for benefits, for the Lord cares for us! Everything the Lord is doing is to flourish the crown of King Jesus, who will take possession of the kingdom! (Ps 132:13-18; Deut 12:5-7).
- Today we see the separation between “anointed” and “laity” members in various Christian groups, but in the church it is not like this. There is no laity, but all must function as members of the Body of Christ (1 Cor 12:26).
- The Lord established the basis of unity where all of God’s children regenerated by the Spirit are included. Regardless of what denomination each person claims to belong to, God has only one church in each city, and all the local churches form one church throughout the Earth (Eph 2:21; 1 Cor 10:17).
- “God does not look for those who consider themselves good or capable of doing His work, but rather those who feel that they are nothing, and are totally insufficient for His work, just as Peter felt after he denied the Lord” (Isaiah 66:2; John 14:62) (Daily Food, Book 5, Week 1, Tuesday, page 7).
