DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Tuesday | Msg. 25 – God’s covenant with Abraham Concerning the Seed and the Land

1. God desires that the church work, fighting for His kingdom. He has given us various tools—war cries, immersion in the Word, the Family Mission, the BookExpo, among others—and time to familiarize ourselves with them. Today we also have at our disposal a true army—teenagers, captains, senior stewards, and David’s mighty men. Let’s get to work! (Mt 6:33; Ps 110:3; 1 Chr 12:18b; 1 Kings 4:27; 1 Chr 11:10).

2. Today we enjoy a very pleasant experience: The church life. However, we cannot become complacent or merely desire to remain in the enjoyment of a good condition. The Lord’s return is near! We need to work to fulfill God’s will. However, we do not need to weary ourselves, for the one who fights for us—and wins —is the Lord (Acts 2:42-43, 46-47; Matthew 17:4; Revelation 22:20; Ephesians 1:9-10, 22-23; Deuteronomy 20:4).

3. With only 318 men, Abraham won a war against four kings; however, these men were “born in his house.” God has also blessed the church with a group of “born in his house”: teenagers—some of whom, now young adults, are leading the work in Asia. The secret is to love the word and have a simple heart (Genesis 14:14-16; Psalm 110:3).

4. “Although Christ is in the heavenly realms, above all principality, power, might, and dominion, not all things are subject to Him. Just look at ourselves and realize that we still have opinions contrary to the Lord. Therefore, the church needs to be the first to submit to Christ so that, through it, all things may be subject to Him” (Eph 1:20-23; Heb 2:8) (Daily Food, book 2, week 3, Tuesday, p. 42).
