- The Spirit is like the wind; we cannot see Him, but He is real in our experience. He blows where He wills, and so does everyone who is born of the Spirit. If we return to practicing the law, we will only be perfected in the flesh. We must walk in the Spirit, for His leading is never against God’s law (John 3:8).
- We do not receive the Spirit by studying the Bible itself, but by hearing it in faith. We hear the word, believe it, and inculcate it in our hearts through immersion, speaking it among ourselves. This practice will cause us to walk in the Spirit constantly (Deut. 6:6-7; John 5:24).
- It is not by observing the law that we receive the Spirit. We do not depend on knowledge, but entirely on the word of life, for it is this word that gives power to the Spirit and makes the work of God happen (Col 3:17; Matt 7:24).
- “[…] The Lord has not given up on, nor has He forgotten any of us. When we seem to be no longer of any use, it is at that moment that He calls us and reaffirms that He wants to use us. The Lord still wants to use us, but for this He needs to transform us and work in us” (Rom 12:2) (Daily Food, Book 4, Week 1, Wednesday, page 12).
