1. Time and space were created so that God’s will could be fulfilled, but the Earth was created for a specific purpose: the creation of man. Unlike other living beings, man was formed with a fundamental organ—the human spirit (Gen. 2:7).
2. Our spirit was breathed into us by God. Today, we can connect with Him, receiving the Spirit of God within us, and thus fulfill His will on earth. Let us not waste the time and space we have in this life without doing God’s will (1 John 2:17; Phil 2:13).
3. What are you investing your time in? We need to use every moment—at home, at school, at work— to fulfill God’s will. We must preach the gospel to all nations, for this is how Satan falls from heaven and demons submit to the name of Jesus (Luke 10:17–18).
4. “How important it is that we hear the word diligently, with attention, and with faith! We must hear, exercise our faith, and believe in order to take hold of this promise. […] In addition to hearing the word, we must also obey it. Then we will enter that rest” (Heb. 4:2-3,6) (Daily Food, book 3, week 1, Wednesday, p. 10).
