- The kingdom of heaven is taken by those who have simplicity, humbleness and follow the direction of the Spirit. In this regard, on the one hand, we adults need to learn from our teenagers and, on the other, we need to give them all the support, use this powerful energy together with the captains and senior stewards, using this TCS tool (Troops, Captains and Senior Stewards) to bring many churches to maturity (Mt 18:3).
- The background of the book of Galatians is that the Galatians were the first to receive grace when the Holy Spirit raised up Barnabas and Saul in Antioch for His work. They went to Antioch in Pisidia, then to Iconium, Lystra, and Derbe. There the churches were raised up with much difficulty, persecution, and suffering. These churches received the life of God through the gospel of truth (Gal. 5:1-4).
- The churches in the Galatian region were very healthy and loved the apostle. But after a while, the Judaizers from Jerusalem or Judea came to that region to say that it was not enough to believe in Jesus to be saved, but that it was also necessary to be circumcised according to the custom of Moses. This is not the gospel of truth, but rather another gospel (Gal 3:1-5).
- “False teachers are those who have long since ceased to live according to the leading of the Spirit. They walk according to the flesh to satisfy their desires in unclean passions, immorality, ambitions, hidden desires, in search of fame and followers. Jesus did nothing for Himself, for everything He did was aimed at fulfilling the will of the Father. Let us not live to satisfy our passions, but to do the will of the Lord” (2 Pet. 2:1; John 5:30) (Daily Food, Book 7, Sem. 2, Wednesday, p. 26).
