DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Wednesday | Msg. 12 – The Fall of Man

1. To confuse us, God’s enemy presents himself as a serpent—similar to a question mark, seeking to cast doubts on our minds. Satan approached the woman when she was alone, without her husband, to engage her in conversation. We must always be protected, avoiding exposure to God’s enemy, and seek constant refuge in the Lord. When doubt arises, let us turn to Him in prayer (Genesis 3:1; 2 Corinthians 11:3).

2. The devil wants to corrupt our minds and rob us of our simplicity and purity toward God. However, when the God of glory appeared to Abraham, he no longer had any doubts, surrendering his whole life to the Lord. Even in difficult situations, Abraham did not question God, for he maintained simplicity and purity toward Him (John 10:10; Numbers 9:7-8).

3. Those who lose simplicity and purity also lose God’s dwelling place. Therefore, we must remain simple, pure, and lovers of the Word. Adults need to learn from teenagers. If we remain stubborn and complex, we will waste time. Let us, then, return to the simplicity and purity due to Christ (Isaiah 66:2; Matthew 18:1-4; Revelation 12:9; 1 Peter 3:7).

4. “The Son speaks through His apostles; the church receives this word, fellowships in it with holy fear, and the will of God is carried out with power, producing signs and wonders. The word the Son speaks through the prophets is a voice of command through the Spirit!” (Acts 2:43) (Daily Food, book 5, week 2, Wednesday, p. 28).
