- To usher in God’s kingdom on earth and end this age, God needs His church to be a powerful weapon, like a laser beam, in which all the photons are at the same frequency and have the same wavelength, adding together rather than canceling each other out. Unlike ordinary light, a laser beam is highly directional, has great precision, and can cut through any material (Gal. 5:25; Phil. 2:2-3).
- If there are different opinions, jealousy, envy, and discord in the church, God will not be able to achieve His purpose. He needs the church to be like a heavenly, spiritual laser beam to carry out His work with power. In order for the laser beam to be produced, there needs to be energization. And how has God energized us? He has used teenagers (Gal. 5:19-23, 25; Ps. 110:3).
- The Lord has made the church an energization chamber — not just for teenagers, but for all of us to be energized. We are material in God’s hands, and if we are highly energized, we will be used like a laser beam in His hands. Let’s not be Christians who focus only on good behavior. God wants to energize us so that we can energize others (Phil. 2:2).
- “Even after the great persecution in Jerusalem, the church continued to grow […]. The Holy Spirit continued to work and perform miracles through the apostle Peter, that is, the Holy Spirit still had freedom to work in the church in Jerusalem through him. […] May this freedom be maintained among us today! (Acts 9:31-35, 36-43; 10:44-48)” (Daily Food, Book 1, Week 1, Wednesday, pp. 9-10).
