- We were all brought into the Body of Christ when we believed. Water baptism confirms this reality; it is a testimony that we have been baptized by the Holy Spirit and belong to the Lord. Therefore, in the church there are neither Jews nor Greeks — we are all members of the Body of Christ (Acts 10: 44 48; 1 Cor. 12:13).
- What is required to be brought into the dispensation of faith? Simply repent and believe in Jesus to receive forgiveness of sins. When we believe, we receive the Holy Spirit and thus can do the Father’s will — for His will is not accomplished by human ability (Acts 5: 30-32; 11:17).
- The death and resurrection of Christ marked the end of the age of the Law and began the dispensation of faith, in which the Spirit performs the work of God with miracles, signs and wonders, through the word of the apostles (Acts 2:42).
- “If you are a Christian and have a desire in your heart to serve God, know that the Lord does not demand much of you — just follow His word closely. If you love the Lord and want to serve Him, He will certainly give you the time you need to fulfill His mission” (Eph 1: 4) (Daily Food, book 1, week 4, Wednesday, p. 63).
