DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Wednesday | Msg. 24 – Abraham Rescues Lot with Three Hundred and Eighteen Men Born in His House

1. We must obey God’s Word, for it accomplishes the divine work. May the Lord grant us a simple heart, capable of believing and obeying His Word, without adding or taking away anything! In this way, we will be able to do everything according to His command (Acts 5:9; James 1:22).

2. We do not seek to accomplish our own work, nor do we pursue personal interests such as position, fame, recognition, or money. Our desire is to have the same pure heart as Abraham: to find the True God and serve Him to the end, in simplicity. What about you? What has been your pursuit? Are you willing to renounce your own interests and be guided by faith and obedience? (Genesis 15:6).

3. Let us have the same heart as Paul, who, when called by the Lord, stopped considering his own life precious to himself. Let us follow the Lord according to His Word, with simplicity. Wherever He sends us, we will go, testifying to the gospel of the kingdom (Acts 20:24).

4. […] we cannot forget that we live in the current of this world. In the river’s current, everything that is lifeless is carried away by its flow, like dry leaves and twigs. But the fish, which have life, can swim against the current. […] You have the life of God, so yes, you can fight against this current and not follow the course of this world (John 17:14-15) (Daily Food, book 1, week 2, Wednesday, pp. 27-28).
