1- ガラテヤ人への手紙6:12では、教会 の初期の歴史を理解するための大きな 光を私たちに与えてくれます。エルサ レムのユダヤ人信者たちが割礼と律法 の実行に戻った主な理由は、キリスト の十字架のゆえの迫害を避けるためで した。パウロが自分の宣教における迫 害を避けたければ、割礼を再び宣べ伝 えるだけでよかったのです (ガラテヤ 人への手紙6:12-14、5:11） 2- 十字架は律法の時代から信仰の時代 への大きな変化を示します。信仰の時 代には聖霊があり、聖霊の働きがあ り、神の言葉であるキリストがありま す。すべてが完全に変わります （ガラ テヤ人への手紙2:16；ローマ人への手 紙10:4；ガラテヤ人への手紙3:14） 3- 神を切に求めていたアブラハムは、 天と地を創造された全能の神に出会 い、自分の人生を主にささげました。 それ以降、彼は自分の生活のために苦 労することなく、栄光の神が彼を養っ てくださると信じました。私たちも同 じ態度を取るべきです （使徒の働き 7:2；ヘブル人への手紙11:8-10） 4-「主に感謝します。私たちはキリス トと共に死に、共に復活しました。律 法の古さから解放され、自分自身で罪 に勝とうと努力する必要はありませ ん。ただ霊の中で、新しいいのちに生 きればよいのです。今や私たちはこの 真理を他の人にも忠実に伝える必要が あります。そうすれば彼らも霊によっ て導かれるようになります」（ローマ 人への手紙6:6-7；7:6）
