DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Monday | Mess. 23 – The resurrection of Jesus

  1. In the midst of the rejection He suffered, Jesus found a group of people that He calls “His sheep”. They know the Shepherd and hear His voice. They are not powerful in society, on the contrary, they are lepers, paralytics, blind people and sinners who were saved and healed by the Lord (John 10:24-30; 12:1-3).
  2. The church of Christ is made up of those who believed in Jesus, love the Lord and His Word and are willing to do the Father’s will. We are those people! (John 6:38; 1 Cor 1:1-9; Matt 12:50).
  3. In the fall, man disconnected from the true God and anchored themselves to the father of lies. Therefore, human thoughts were filled with vanity and falsehood. But, through the Word of God we can reconnect to the truth and fill ourselves with divine reality! (John 8:44; 17:3,17; Eph 4:17-21, 5:25-27).
  4. Imagine that you want to build a beautiful house on a plot of land surrounded by opponents. When planning construction, which would you build first: the house or the walls? Walls mean government and security. And what about us? Are there walls protecting our inner being, or is our heart a “no man’s land”? What about our family? What about the church where we meet? Is there the government of God? (Adapted – Daily Food, Book 1, Week 1, Monday, page 7).
