DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Monday | Mess. 24 – Simon, Tend My Sheep

  1. In obedience to God the Father, Jesus came into the world so that whoever believed in Him would receive eternal life. During all His human life, Jesus did not seek glory for Himself, His focus was on doing God’s will (John 1:12; 3:16; 5:19; 17:1-4).
  2. Despite being rejected by many, Jesus found in Bethany a house that loved Him, made up of people who were previously dead in their trespasses and sins, who were rebellious, paralyzed and blind regarding spiritual things, but now, they received healing and forgiveness from God, were resurrected with Christ and walk according to the truth. This is the church life and you are part of it! (John 5:5-11; 9:1-12; 11:25-26; 12:1-8; Mt 26:6; Eph 2:1-7; 4:1, 17-24)
  3. The Lord calls us “My sheep” because we know Him and hear His voice. We are in the hands of the Lord, we are intimate with Him and focused on doing His will (John 10:14-15, 27-29).
  4. God likes to celebrate! He lives in an environment of complete happiness. Therefore, God did not create us or place us in the world to live on our own, but rather to participate in this wonderful and divine feast for all eternity (Pr 8:22-31) (Daily Food, Book 1, Week 2, Monday, page 23/24).
