DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Saturday | Mess. 21 – Jesus is Arrested and Unjustly Tried

  1. Jesus cared about His disciples. Despite the situation of intimidation by Judas, part of the Roman army and the soldiers of the Sanhedrin, knowing that He would be arrested, He did not want to leave them without care. The Lord Jesus cares about you (John 18:8-9)!
  2. Even with all the military apparatus turned against Him in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus, if He had wanted, would not have allowed Himself to be caught, tied up, and taken to prison. However, He made it very clear that He was giving His life freely. He gave His life for us (John 10:17-18)!
  3. Although one-third of the angels are in the service of Satan, there are two-thirds under the command of God. Many bad things do not happen to us because the countless angels of God camp around us (Ps. 34:7) and protect us (Ps. 91:11-12; Luke 4:10), being at the service of God and those who will inherit salvation (Heb. 1:14).
  4. “The word only has life if Christ is found in it, for He is the Word” (John 5:39-40) (Daily Food, Book 6, Week 3, Saturday, page 53).
