DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Sunday | Mess. 17 – I Appointed You to Bear Fruit

  1. The Lord spoke to Moses face to face, like a friend. It’s about knowing each other’s hearts and practice the word. After Judas left their midst, Jesus called the disciples friends, to whom He could open His heart. We need to follow the Lord more and more closely. Whoever follows the word closely becomes a friend of the Lord (Ex 33:11, Mt 28:19).
  2. The Lord has called many, but not everyone seeks to do God’s will. If we want to be friends with Jesus, we will be one of these chosen ones. He chose us to go and bear fruit. We are the church of “the going”, not just “the coming”. The Lord chose us before the foundation of the world and designated us, that is, made official our responsibility to go and bear fruit (John 15:16).
  3. The Father is the origin and the disciples are the witnesses. We don’t want to do anything for ourselves, but just serve the Lord and do His will. We want to be extremely focused on doing God’s will, just like the Lord Jesus (John 15:26-27).
  4. “We don’t need to be capable people; we just need to follow the word of the Lord Jesus and immediately practice what He says. Thus, God’s work will be done, and we will be rewarded in the end” (Daily Food, Book 5, Week 3, Sunday, page 56).
