DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Thursday | Mess. 24 – Simon, Tend My Sheep

  1. Peter, who thought he was very strong, in a frightening and pressure-filled environment, denied the Lord three times and probably thought that the Lord no longer wanted him. This is also often the way we act and think. Let us not be discouraged, for the Lord does not abandon us, on the contrary, He always calls us, “and Peter” (Mark 14:66-72; 16:1-8; 2 Pet 3:9).
  2. We are obeying the commission to preach the gospel. We are going to everyone, wherever the Lord opens a door, we are there. So, let us not be afraid of demons, fallen angels or attacks, our Lord has already received all authority and He is the head of the church (Mark 16:14-20).
  3. The word is confirmed by the Lord through the signs that accompany us. Therefore, it is not speaking our own message, it is transmitting the word of the Lord. It is not doing our own work, but executing the order that comes through the word. The presence of the Lord is in the word (Mark 16:19-20; Luke 24:13-35, 44-53)!
  4. Let us not live limited by human logic and reasoning, by what is visible. Let us allow the Lord to lead us to the dimension of eternity, where He lives (2 Cor 4:18) (Daily Food, Book 1, Week 2, Thursday, page 31).
