1. The only way to allow Christ’s headship in building the church and not be deceived by any wind of doctrine is to help the saints follow the truth in love, the prophetic word that the Lord speaks to us in the present (Eph 4:13-15 ).
2. The word that comes from Christ always brings the basis of love and unites us. God’s love is the only element that unites us (Col 3:14).
3. The enemy fears the built church. The way to edification is by filling ourselves with the Spirit by speaking the word among us, that is, by immersing ourselves (Eph 5:18-19).
4. Christ received from the Father the responsibility of building the church. He is determined and has zeal for it. We also need to have this same zeal, this same determination (Mt 16:18) (Daily Food, Book 4, Week 2, Saturday, p. 37).
