1. Jesus became man, because God did not have human nature. Thus, when the Word became flesh, the element of humanity was added to the Spirit.
2. As a man, Jesus went through all the experiences of human living; He was rejected, reviled, misunderstood, and experienced all of this for my sake and for yours (Job 10:4-6; Is 53:1-12; Heb 4:15).
3. Everything you need as a man, is the supply of God and Christ, which is in the Spirit. He is able to supply us in everything (John 7:38-39).
4. You are a temple of God, the place where God wants to dwell. God dwells in you, and therefore do not allow anything to destroy or defile your body (1 Cor 3:16-17) (Daily Food, Book 4, Week 1, Saturday, p. 19).
