1. The Word does God’s work! The Word gives us life and governs us. It gives us direction and feeds us. (John 6:28-29, 56-58, 63; Is 55:10,11; 2 Pe 1:19; Ps 119:105).
2. The filters of the human mind tend to filter the Word of God. When we doubt, we miss the revelation of the Spirit, which is the Word. But if we believe, we understand. If, however, we do not believe, like unbelievers, we reject it (Mt 13:14; Jn 6:60-64).
3. The words of eternal life introduce us to the dimension of eternity, where God lives. But if we live by our rational logic and only believe what we see, we will not access this dimension (John 6:65-68; Is 55:15; James 1:17-18) .
4. The blessing that has come to all the families of the earth is the promised Spirit (Gal 3:14) ( Daily Food, Book 3, week 3, Thursday, p. 49 )
