1. We, as the church and the Body of Christ, should submit ourselves to Him. We are the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Today, we can be filled with Christ through tools such as immersion in the Word, transcription, war cries, and the habit of sleeping and waking with God (Eph. 1:23).
2. Christ gave Himself for the church, and the church needs to be sanctified. When Christ chose us, we were dead in our trespasses and sins, but we have been saved by God’s grace. Now He is working a process of sanctification in us—in you and me—until the church is presented without spot or wrinkle or any such thing (Eph. 5:25–26; 2:1–3).
3. We must daily receive the word of God, so that it may wash us, sanctify us and remove from us all the elements of the sinful nature, introducing in their place the holy elements of the divine nature. Thus, we will be filled with the truth and reality of God (Acts 2:42; John 17:17; Eph 5:26).
4. “God wants to place us in Christ, giving us the opportunity to share in this inheritance. That is why it is important that we continue to live in the hearing of faith, with the reality of faith in Christ” (Heb 1:2) (Daily Food, book 3, week 1, Tuesday, p. 9).
