DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Sunday | Msg. 04 – The Beginning of the Restoration of the Earth

1. On the first day, God created light—and it is essential to both creating and sustaining life. On the second day, God formed the firmament, or atmosphere—the air we breathe. Without air, there is no life. The word “Spirit” can be translated as air or wind in both Hebrew and Greek. The Spirit is like the air: it is everywhere, enveloping us completely (Gen. 1:6-8; John 3:8).

2. The Spirit is also compared to water, because water represents life and is essential for us to live. Vapor accumulates in the sky, and tons of water remain suspended in the clouds until, at the right time, it falls as rain. The waters flow down the mountains and valleys, supplying springs and rivers. God is wonderful! His word also comes down from above and does not return empty—it fulfills His purpose and accomplishes His will (John 4:10; 7:37-39; Isaiah 55:10-11).

3. Let us have the same heart as Abraham: not to seek the things of this earth. Everything here is temporary, but the word of God remains forever, and His will shall be fulfilled. While we are in the world, let us live as pilgrims and strangers, desiring the heavenly homeland. Let us live as children of the Day, waiting with hope for the great Day of the Lord (Col 3: 1-4; Mt 24.35; Heb 11:16).

4. “Once the divine seed enters us, it cannot remain still. God wants good soil, soil that will bear fruit. This seed in us, the Christ who now dwells in our hearts, needs to grow and expand throughout our soul, conquering our mind, emotion and will.” (1 Pet 1:21; 2 Pet 1:8) (Daily Food, book 3, week 2, Sunday, p. 37).
