DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Wednesday | Mess. 17 – I Appointed You to Bear Fruit

Remaining in the vine makes the branch bear fruit. To remain in the Lord is to remain in love. This is agape love, the love of God. When we remain in the word, we remain in love. When we reach this level, full of love, we will see that the Lord’s return is near (John 15:8-11).
The basis of God’s work is love. It is important for Christ to dwell in our hearts. We are not card-carrying Christians, but we have reality: Christ commanding our hearts, giving us direction. We are rooted and grounded in love, which is the basis of God’s work in our lives (John 15:12; Eph 3:17).
The most excellent path is love. The work of God, in the concept of men, is to move mountains, to have knowledge, science, to do great things. But without the foundation of agape love, this is nothing. Overdoing it, without love, will be useless. With agape love, there is no pride, no arrogance, no fury, no resentment. Love supports everything (1 Cor 13:1-8).
