- Don’t let time pass and make you stiff, don’t depend on your ability. The church has never depended on human ability to prosper, but has always depended on the power of God that comes through the word (Acts 4:32-33; 5:12-14).
- The enemy uses every means to silence the word, because it accomplishes the work of God. So let us be those with whom God is pleased, who hear in faith, believe, and are blessed (Rom 10:17; Jas 1:22).
- We cannot depend on human ability. Let us continue with simplicity, depending on the Lord. God is the I AM, He has the ability and fuel to do His work. We are just a support, a channel for God to use (Ex 3:14; John 4:16).
- “We were chosen because God showed us mercy […]. You are a blessed man, because you were chosen to be a vessel of honor, to receive the Lord’s inheritance. What a wonderful thing!” (Romans 9:18-24) (Daily Food, Book 4, Week 1, Saturday, page 18).
