- God has one desire: that the testimony of the church spread from city to city, to the ends of the earth. He does not intend to isolate the faith, but to take it to all nations. That is why the church has received the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1: 8).
- We can only do God’s work when we are filled with the Holy Spirit. We do not remain inactive just listening to good news; rather, we go to work! In this new dispensation, that of faith, we need to establish God’s Kingdom and government on earth (Acts 2: 22-35).
- God’s desire is for Christ to be the Head over all things. That is why He was first exalted above all authority. Then God gave Him to the church to put all things under His feet. This is our responsibility (Acts 2:36; Eph. 1: 20-22).
- “The Lord has chosen you and set you apart to be His servant. If you are not serving the Lord, you are going the wrong way. Many say they don’t have time because they are too busy with work or other worldly projects. “No! The Lord wants you to serve Him right now!” (Isaiah 49: 1) (Daily Food, book 1, week 4, Tuesday, p. 62).
