1. Faith is not just for some, but for all of us. Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved! We just need to believe in our hearts, call on Him, and confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and we will gain salvation (Romans 10:8-13).
2. Today we see the importance of following the teaching of the apostles and fellowship in the prophetic word, which gives direction and brings God’s government, granting freedom for the Holy Spirit to work with His power and accomplish God’s work (Acts 2:42; 2 Pet 1:19).
3. Only the word is capable of transforming our soul and making us live a church life of unfeigned brotherly love. In the practice of the law we bite and devour one another, condemning and criticizing one another. When we live by faith we obey the truth and produce true brotherly love in the church. Everything comes from the word, which is living and abiding (Gal 5:13-15; 1 Pet 1:22-23).
4. “The law of the Spirit of life has set us free from the law of sin and death, and we no longer need to live this life of conflict, depression, weariness, and obsolescence of the letter. We can live in newness of the Spirit” (Romans 8:1-2) (Daily Food, Book 2, Week 2, Saturday, p. 34).
