1. Regeneration means new birth. By being born again, we belong to a new kingdom: the Kingdom of God. Today we are born of the Spirit —we no longer belong to the material world, but to the Kingdom of God. We have been born again to walk according to the Spirit (John 3:3-8).
2. We are a new creation. If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation, belonging to the Kingdom of God. Today, we are part of the new creation because Christ has already been resurrected and has caused us to be born again. Now, we live in Christ as the good land. Therefore, we should not set our minds on the things that are on earth, but on the things that are from above (2 Cor 5:17; Gal 6:15).
3. As a new creation, we live in the Kingdom of God. We also need the spiritual land, which we must cultivate in order to obtain the food necessary for our growth (Deuteronomy 8:7-12).
4. “Our hearts are like Abraham’s: we trust in our God. We have few of us who can go out to fight, yet they are engaged. A great army cannot overcome three hundred and eighteen engaged men. We were called and born in the house of God to be engaged in fighting for His kingdom” (Gen. 14:1-17; 1 Tim. 3:15; Matt. 11:12) (Daily Food, book 3, week 3, Wednesday, p. 46).
