1. Time exists to do God’s will, which is to subject all things to the headship of Christ. When everything is subjected to Him, there will be no more need for time. Then we will be ushered into eternity (Eph 1:9-10).
2. God created everything through the word. He commanded, and everything came into being. Let us not strive in our own strength, nor live by our own ability. Let us believe only in the word of God, who is able to do everything we need (Gen. 1:3, 6, 9, 14; Heb. 1:3; 11:3).
3. We are in the time of soul salvation, since, by believing in the Lord, our spirit has been saved. We need to hold to the word more firmly, reclaim the land for the Lord, and bring Christ’s rule to the Earth so that all things may be subject to Him (Heb. 2:1; 1 Pet. 1:9).
4. “We want to be like Abraham, whose heart was right, pure, and without attachment to material things, seeking only to serve the Lord […]; to be useful to God, as Paul instructed the Philippians: “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humbleness consider one another better than yourselves” (Phil. 2:3) (Daily Food, Book 4, Week 1, Friday, p. 15).
