1. Today we are in the process of soul salvation. Previously, our mind, emotions, and will were completely devoid of function, but now they are being filled with Christ. Our spirit was already sanctified when it was saved, but our soul was not. It needs to undergo a process of sanctification through the washing of water by the word (1 Thess. 5:23; Eph. 5:23).
2. The word of the Lord is the truth that sanctifies us. We are being saved in our souls. Our faith still has impurities because our souls are not yet fully transformed. Trials are for purifying and removing our impurities, like gold. God wants to make us valuable. Our trials will lead us to approval on that day (John 17:17; 1 Peter 1:6-7, 9).
3. The end of our faith is the salvation of our souls! That is where our faith will take us! Let us work on this Earth for the Lord! When He returns, we will be able to serve Him for a thousand years, and then for eternity for many more! We will be brought into the glory of God, we will be completely united with Him, and we will be inseparable! (1 Peter 1:9; Rev. 20:6; 21:3 KJV).
4. “…We don’t have to be capable people. We just have to obey the Word and follow the work the Spirit is doing. Let’s not destroy what the Lord is doing among us. We need to stay in the same rhythm, in the same cycle. This will bring the Lord back!” (2 Cor. 3:5; 1 Thess. 2:13; Phil. 2:2) (Daily Food, book 4, week 2, Sunday, p. 37).
