1. We are free from the law and serve in newness of spirit, not according to the letter. Christ died for us, with the main purpose that we might serve God. We must work to produce the life of the resurrection church throughout the Earth. For this, we need everyone: Troops, Captains, David’s Mighty Men, Senior Stewards, and colporters—all diligent. Let’s take over the whole Earth! (Romans 7:6).
2. The small offering that God commanded Abraham to make symbolized a covenant—a sign of the reality that would be fulfilled in Christ. The blood of Christ sealed it, so that today we serve the living God. Because of the blood of Christ, we have a new covenant and receive the promise of eternal inheritance. The church is composed of the called, and, through the new covenant, we receive the Earth as an inheritance (Hebrews 9:14-15).
3. God promised to give us the Earth as an eternal inheritance. To take possession of it, it is necessary to lift our eyes, rise up with resolve, and walk through the land. The covenant became a testament. Christ died for us and left the New Testament, confirmed by His death (Genesis 13:14a, 17; Hebrews 9:16-22).
4. “The spirit of man is his innermost being, the part that discerns him. If we want to know the depths of God, we need to know the Spirit of God, who searches and reveals all things, even the depths of God” (1 Corinthians 2:10). (Daily Food, book 2, week 4, Wednesday, page 62).
