- It is time to change! The Lord needs people with clean hearts, those who love His word, realize that man has no capacity of their own, and believe that it is the Word of God that does the Father’s work. The world was formed by the Word of God; everything was formed through the Word. Why, now, would the work be done by human capacity? It makes no sense! God will continue to do the work through His Word (Matt. 5:8; 2 Cor. 3:5; Isa. 66:2; Ps. 33:9).
- God wants to dwell in His house and feel at home. However, what house can we build for Him, if heaven is His throne and the Earth is His footstool? He wants to dwell in those who are poor, humble, afflicted, and contrite in spirit. In other words, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Isaiah 66:1-2; Matthew 5:3).
- God does not need our help; He wants us to have a humble spirit, trust in His word, and believe that it is His Word that does the work. On our part, He needs to find a heart that is desperate for the Word. That is why God raised up teenagers, because they have a reverent love for the word and a humble spirit. That is why miracles happen among them (Matthew 5:3; Prov. 3:5; John 14:10; Ps. 110:3).
- “Every day we receive the source of love, that is, God Himself. That is why we are driven to go out into the streets, rescue people, and care for them. It is with this love that we serve in the church, love one another, and will bring the Lord back” (1 John 4:8; Matt. 9:35-36; 1 John 4:7) (He who has an ear, let him hear!
