DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Friday | Mess. 19 – Christ Died for Our Sins to Bring Us to God

  1. The enemy of God will use people, multitudes, to try to block us and prevent us from living for the kingdom of God and establishing the kingdom of the Lord on Earth, but God is with us. We should fear only the Lord. We do not need to fear circumstances; the Only One we need to fear is the Lord. We want to please Him (Is 8:9- 10,13).

  1. Our hope cannot be in earthly things, such as possessions, property, and riches. Our hope is that Christ will return, head up everything, and take possession of His kingdom. For this to happen, God is filling the church with Christ Himself, with truth, and with love (1 Pet. 3:15; Eph. 1:9-10; Eph. 4:15-16).

  1. Through the supply of grace, which is Christ Himself, and the dispensing of the prophetic word, we are receiving the truth. The very reality and love of God are being constituted within us. Without realizing it, when the word circulates among us as we serve with our brothers and sisters, love begins to bind, unite, and even glue us together. Everything is by obedience to the word of truth (Eph 4:15-16; Col 3:16; Col 1:5).

  1. “In order that Christ might be head over all things, ‘both things in heaven and things on earth,’ God gave Him to the church. Thus, God uses the church headed up by Christ, ‘which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.’ The church is the Body of Christ, and in order to head it up, God must first fill it with Christ. Thus, through obedience to the Head, all things will be subjected to Him” (Eph. 1:9-10, 22-23) (He who Has an Ear, Let Him Hear! Sardis Lessons in Revelation, Background I, Friday, p. 60).
